I was given this brush for my 7th birthday. Im now 31 and i still use it on a daily basis! It will last forever.

I bought the large and it's a decent enough size for long hair, but I would have liked even a bit larger to cover more territory in the same amount of time. Appears very good quality although I haven't been using it long enough to attest to how it holds up. The best part of this purchase was the lightning fast shipping. It was almost the next day. I order online from BC to Alberta all the time and I've never had ANYTHING ship that fast.

My Asian hair is thinning which is surprising since I'm young and I read a lot of good things about boar bristle brushes. It's always been a bit frizzy with lots of fly-a-ways and gets oily quite quickly. Rather than putting chemicals in my hair to tame it, among the many things I've tried, I thought that getting a good quality boar bristle brush would be good to massage the scalp and encourage blood flow. This might sound dramatic but using this boar bristle brush has really changed the quality of my hair and my appearance in general. A lot of the people around me have noticed as well. It's become silky, shiny and full of volume rather than tangled, limp and dull. The results of using this brush (or maybe the fact that it's boar bristle) has been amazing. I don't have to use home-made hair masks anymore to alleviate the irritated scalp and the dryness because the brush basically brings the natural oils from the scalp to the ends of my hair and soothes it. And I can wash my hair less often because it doesn't get dirty as quickly. I never thought brushes were that important because you often hear of women who never brush their hair but I now think they're essential.
