It is great that FABOVE carries this white noise machine. I tested a few models in fabove store, and decided to choose 980A because I normally use only white noise sound. I've used almost one week, and happily to tell it is a great one. It helps screen out those unexpected noises, and keeps me focusing. It is much more comfortable than wearing an ear plug. Have better sleep now.

I have been searching for this Marpac sound machine for a while, unfortunately it is not a commonly carried item in local stores. Gladly found FABOVE online, and it is less expensive for me to order it on line and pay the shipping and handling costs than to spend the money on gas to drive to a major centre to purchase the product. The machine is great, and very easy to use.

I just ordered 3 more of these sound machines... one to bring to my sister as a gift, one for here at home and another for at the cottage. My youngest daughter has been using one of two that I ordered over a year ago... and it really eliminates noises that often would keep her from falling asleep at night. I had also bought a more expensive one for another daughter who is away at University and struggles with sounds keeping her awake at night. It works well too, with way more options (thunderstorms, rain, ocean, etc.,) but she tends to only use the white noise. So... it wasn't worth the extra dollars when you could buy this one for white noise only. But... if you're into the "other sounds" then a machine that can deliver that sounded and worked awesome as well. Also, this is my second time ordering through this company and I wouldn't hesitate to say go ahead with your order with a complete piece of mind for 100% satisfaction. They phoned me this morning to discuss my order (rushed shipping charges) The fact that they took the time to call me from B.C. (I'm in Ontario) and were so appreciative of my business that they really wanted to help me get my order before I headed out of town on Friday (one machine is a gift for the sister I'm going to see on Friday)

I have had the Marpac dohm for five months. I live in a fairly busy urban setting and busy apartment complex, and am an extremely light sleeper - floor creaks and coughs can wake me up. This little device has made a huge difference in my ability to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night. I now understand what it's like to get up for work well rested. Generally the lowest setting is enough to filter out the random noises that used to wake me up and ultimately cause me anxiety and sleep loss. My husband has also come to like it, and now I rarely wake when he comes to bed a few hours later. It is a great investment for the price.

I recently ordered this product and have been very pleased with it. I usually have an air conditioner unit in the window from May until October so am very used to listening to the white noise sound and find it difficult to sleep when it is not in use. This little machine really helps to eliminate noise within the home(teenagers,snoring etc). I would highly recommend it!
